For more than three decades, I have evolved alongside multiple generations of technology, from embedded systems and telecom infrastructure to enterprise cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and AI-assisted engineering.
My career began in low-level hardware, firmware, DSP, and real-time operating system development before expanding into carrier-grade distributed systems, enterprise web platforms, secure government healthcare systems, and most recently, cloud-native and AI architectures.
This progression gives me the ability to bridge deep systems engineering with modern AI, cloud, security, and modern enterprise-scale software design.
During college, I designed and prototyped computer hardware electronics, digital signal processing systems, and the firmware for both, while completing a military software testing co-op. Following graduation, I developed firmware, embedded software, and DSP-based systems during the rapid expansion of the networking and telecommunications industries, working on early DSL modem technology and VoIP gateway systems.
Expanded into large-scale telecom infrastructure and fault-tolerant distributed systems engineering.
Developed carrier-grade VoIp telecommunications software at Cisco Systems, supported large-scale telecom deployments for Sprint and Cisco Advanced Services, and helped Cisco, Samsung, and others integrate media-streaming technologies into their embedded products.
Expanded into enterprise web development and architecture, delivering secure government healthcare systems supporting millions of users.
Led software development efforts within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs ecosystem while maintaining FISMA-High compliance, enterprise integrations, HL7 FHIR interoperability, and large-scale Java EE/Spring-based platforms.
Extended enterprise healthcare modernization and cybersecurity efforts before expanding into software architecture strategy, emerging AI technologies, and next-generation software development approaches.

Developed embedded software and distributed infrastructure for carrier-grade telecom gateway systems requiring high-availability, scalability, and protocol interoperability.
Creating AI-native software engineering platforms that combine software architecture, MCP tooling, AI agents, and enterprise governance.
I focus on architecture-driven development, business-to-implementation alignment, AI-assisted development workflows, and secure enterprise AI integration.
